Who We Are

We recognized a need and want to address it.

The Tenant Resource Center was created to change the way Hennepin residents get the housing help they need. It reflects a commitment to design resources around the needs of households rather than the needs of systems.

One phone number.

Community partners working together to end the "resource run-around" and address the rental housing needs of our community with dignity and humanity.

Our Mission

The Tenant Resource Center supports Hennepin County residents who are at risk of eviction or homelessness through a collaborative partnership between community, non-profits, and government. The goal of the resource center is to help people maintain stability in their housing situation and avoid the “service run around” that sometimes comes with the need to access multiple community resources to ensure stability in housing.

Our Service

The Tenant Resource Center is a collaborative effort, bringing together several community providers to help Hennepin County residents with tenant-related issues and concerns. Services include:

Eviction and Homelessness Prevention

Emergency Assistance

Mediation

Workforce

Legal Assistance

Housing Search

I liked that the staff was courteous and helpful. I learned about resources that I didn’t know about. Overall I had a very good experience.
